Hallie Geier was a role model for kindness and the inspiration for LOVE, HALLIE.

LOVE, HALLIE's inspiration comes from Hallie Geier, a young activist who volunteered at soup kitchens and senior centers, was passionate about all animals and saved $398 to help children in sub-Saharan Africa.  Though Hallie passed away in 2004 at age eleven, LOVE, HALLIE continues to spread her message of kindness. 

Young people are natural philanthropists. They're filled with energy, optimism, compassion, and skills to contribute to their neighborhoods and to people on the other side of the world. LOVE, HALLIE gives them help, ideas, and encouragement to make their unique contributions.

In times when kids are inundated with cynical, hopeless, and angry messages from the media and from those around them, it's vital to provide them ways to care and to act. Through Hallie's Angels, LOVE, HALLIE offers young people the inspiration and practical tools they need to act with kindness and respect, and to work to improve their communities and the world.
